Depart from Entebbe in the morning with your Ikigai guide. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a walking safari to see Uganda’s only wild rhinos. Continue north to Murchison Falls, where the Nile roars through a narrow gorge in a spray of mist. Stand at the top of the falls and feel the ground tremble before crossing the Nile by ferry to your lodge on the northern bank.
At dawn, set out on a game drive across the savannah. Watch giraffes silhouetted against the sunrise, elephants moving in herds, and lions prowling the grasslands. After lunch, board a Nile boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls. Hippos wallow in pods, crocodiles sun themselves on sandbanks, and fish eagles call from overhead. At the base of the falls, disembark for a short hike to view the thunderous cascade from above.
